It’s our favourite time of the year again! Our Christmas tree is already standing tall in our living room, the first Christmas markets have been approved during our last trip to Vienna and we can’t wait to go to Paris and London to experience the magical Christmas atmosphere there in December!
It’s also time to think about what we’ll get our family members and friends for Christmas, so we decided to create a series of Holiday Gift Guides with some inspiration! You can find our Gift Guide with gifts under $50 here and our Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide for Her here.

- Orlebar Brown Vintage Swimshorts – $288.46
Nicolas just loves his Orlebar Brown swimwear. They always have very original designs and from time to time they do amazing limited editions such as the 007 one. We love their vintage designs, but should you have problems finding one you really like, you can always create your own by uploading a high-res picture and together with the OB Concierge you’ll create the perfect gift in no-time.
- Solid and Striped shorts – $145
This American brand produces some of the most comfortable and stylish swimwear both for him and her. Their California fit is absolutely perfect and will flatter all body types and if you feel a little cheeky you can order a matching set for yourself. Nicolas and I like to mix it up a little so we’ll sometimes wear the same pattern but in a different colour 🙂
- Vilebrequin swimwear – $260
Our top choice for father and son. Vilebrequin is a famous luxury swimwear brand from St-Tropez and they have the cutest matching shorts for daddy and son(s). Go for the iconic ones with a turtle design to really stand out on your next holiday.

- Apple Airpods Pro – $249
An alternative for the Sony headphones in a much smaller package. They also feature noise-cancelling (although not as good as bigger headphones) and they’re very easy to charge with the wireless charging case. They might make your boyfriend look like a douchebag, so keep that in mind.
- DJI Mavic Mini – $399
DJI, the leader in consumer drones, just launched their Mavic Mini and it’s the perfect beginner’s drone! As the name suggests it’s compact, incredibly easy to fly and the image quality (both picture and video) is quite good for such a small camera. Hours of fun guaranteed for your boyfriend and some much-needed alone time guaranteed for yourself! If your significant other is a content creator and wants to use a drone more professionally, also take a look at the DJI Mavic Air and the DJI Mavic 2.
Books & Literature
- Kindle e-reader – $59.99
This is definitely going on my own Christmas list, too! It’s just so much easier than buying and hauling around books and it’s better for the environment, too. Nicolas loves to read but sometimes it’s difficult when we’re away for a longer period of time as real books will add up both in weight and size in our suitcase. The Kindle is the perfect alternative!
- Assouline ‘In The Spirit Of’ Coffee Table Books – $50
Assouline has some of the best and most beautiful coffee table books in the world and it’s just one of those gifts which you can’t do much wrong with! We personally love all our ‘In The Spirit Of’ books and they’re very reasonably priced, too!
- Taschen Helmut Newton Photography Book – $100
Taschen is another one of our favourite publishers of beautiful books and this particular one with amazing photographs by Helmut Newton is an oldie but a goldie. The ideal gift for men because it features a lot of semi-naked women and as a bonus it will look great in any interior.
- Taschen The Sartorialist – India – $60
This XL book from Taschen by the Sartorialist himself (Scott Schuman) is a great gift for every man that loves both fashion and beautiful photographs.
